The IDOE's Office of eLearning awarded the Imagining and Creating Grant to 16 districts across the state of Indiana. Among these 16 districts four consortiums were formed around the topics of digital content, student-produced digital content, customized learning, and flexible scheduling.
The Flexible Scheduling Consortium is comprised of Attica Consolidated School Corporation, Maconaquah School Corporation, MSD of Wabash County, and Porter Township School Corporation. Each district was awarded the opportunity by the Office of eLearning to participate in eLearning Days as part of the IMAC Grant. The idea behind flexible scheduling and the eLearning Days is that learning can and does take place 24/7 and is not dependent upon a school building operating at certain hours of the day. These four districts have successfully executed eLearnings Days throughout the 2013-14 school year each learning valuable lessons along the way. Take some time to explore this site and investigate the steps needed to make eLearning Days a reality at your district!
